AI video, finished like film.
AI
Generative AI is now part of how we work: for concepting, for variants, for volume and, increasingly, for finished films. The difference between an AI clip and an AI film is everything that happens after the generation — the edit, the grade, the sound, the retouch, the compositing — and that is the part a CGI studio has always been good at. Every AI film we release is marked as AI; every film that is not is stamped 'no AI used'.
What we make
AI, in four shapes.
AI films & ads
Fully generative or hybrid AI + CGI films for social and paid, directed frame by frame rather than prompted once.
Concepting & previz
AI-generated boards and animatics that show a client the idea in hours, before a single 3D asset is built.
Variants at volume
Dozens of versions of a hero film — markets, products, formats — produced from one approved master.
AI UGC
Creator-style product content generated and directed in-house, for brands that need feed-native volume without a creator roster.

Before you brief us.
What is an AI video studio?
A studio that uses generative AI models — for image, video, voice and sound — as production tools, and finishes the output to the standard of conventional film. WHY.CGI is a CGI studio first, which is why our AI work is edited, graded and composited rather than published straight from the model.
Which AI models do you use?
Whichever is best for the shot. Models change every few months; the pipeline around them — direction, references, upscaling, retouch, grade — is what stays. We do not lock clients into one vendor.
Can AI video use our real product?
Yes, with care. Products are usually kept accurate by combining AI with CGI: the product is a true 3D asset and the AI handles the environment, the people or the motion. Faces and identities are only used with explicit rights.
How do you label AI work?
Every film in our library carries an AI flag. AI films are tagged AI on the card and on the project page; everything else carries a 'no AI used' stamp. Clients always know what they are buying.
