3D animation people stop scrolling for.
3D motion
3D animation is how a product moves before anyone can hold it: an exploded view that reassembles itself, a sneaker that builds layer by layer, packaging that unfolds into the campaign. We make it photoreal when the brand needs the product to look real, and stylised when it needs to look like nothing else on the feed.
What we make
3D motion, in four shapes.
Product animation
Exploded views, assembly, mechanism and material stories that explain a product faster than a paragraph.
3D motion design
Typography, logo and brand-world animation in three dimensions, matched to the brand's system.
Launch films
Teasers, reveals and hero films for product launches, built to run across paid, organic and in-store screens.
Simulation
Cloth, liquid, particles and rigid-body simulation when the story needs physics rather than keyframes.
Selected work

Before you brief us.
What is the difference between 3D animation and CGI?
CGI is the broad term for any computer-generated imagery. 3D animation is the part of it concerned with movement — how a product, camera or character moves through time. At WHY.CGI the two are the same team: the people who model and light a product also animate it.
Do you do stylised as well as photoreal animation?
Yes. Most of our library is photoreal because that is what product brands ask for, but the same pipeline produces stylised, graphic and abstract 3D motion when the brief calls for it.
Can you animate our existing 3D or CAD files?
Usually. Engineering CAD needs cleanup and re-shading before it renders well, and we handle that. Game-ready or product-design files are typically faster to start from.
What formats do you deliver?
ProRes and H.264/H.265 masters in every crop the campaign needs, plus stills, transparent renders and loops for web and in-store screens.
